And you're just like, PHEW FINALLY A NORMAL PICTURE.
hehehehehehe. Scroll down.
I mean you didn't really think I wasn't gonna be weird, did you? :D:D:D:D:D:D YASSSS, this post is gonna feature more of my AWESOMELY PECULIAR GRAPHICS.
Though, to be annoyingly serious for a moment, my website doesn't support emojis anymore. AND I AM ANGRY. Thus the these faces: :D:D:D:D. Except my face is really more like >:( about that. But anyways on to HAPPIER THINGS: LIBRARY PEOPLE. Yeeeeeee, they make my face do this. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
So I am going to highlight a few of my favorite awesome library people, talk about how awesome they are and then show you their REALLY REALISTIC PORTRAITS.
Coming up at NUMBER ONE: Taylor aka Suitor from the Mrs. Awe series.
So Taylor is awesome. She is relatively newish to my library (I think she was hired last year) and NOW SHE'S LEAVING NOOOOOOOOOO. But it's to a branch library so I mean, I will still see here like every once in a blue moon, so (sighs).
She (like me) abhors stinky cheese/feet/old chocolate smelling garden fertilizer, is a pro at making goo monsters, and doesn't mind talking to me so :D:D:D:D:D. She also has lots of dogs (three I think), and a messy house? (I'm not sure if that's correct. She either said "super clean" or "super messy" sooooooo I made HALF HER HOUSE MESSY AND THE OTHER HALF NOT! :D #YaySmartHannah) She's also vegan, but apparently Canva (my graphics design place) does not have meatless salad pictures so her portrait has no food at all.* (She'll just have to starve. #OhWell #Don'tKillMeTaylor)
(*well, I mean except for that basket of eggs. But those are candy eggs so #HannahDidNOTBotchUpThePictureWithUn-veganFoods)
Very realistic picture of Taylor and her house. Bonus points if you know why she has a stapler. (hint: Mrs. Awe stories)
Next up is: Amanda aka Mrs. Badkins from the Mrs. Awe series
Amanda is really nice despite being like a super kickbutt in the Mrs. Awe series. She well, actually I don't know too too much about her except she has kids and drives a navy car thing. She used to run the Tween Writer's Club, and I wasn't a tween but went anyway, which was good because no one else came usually. Sometimes one or two really young kids would come, and they'd be like 9 years old, and I would feel really awkward. YAS, kids, I'm just like the biggest 13 year old you've ever seen. But GENERALLY no one else was there, which WAS TOTALLY OKAY! Because we were both writers so we're like "yasssssss we can write in peace and silence." (See this is what Sarah should do instead of steaming about how "NO ONE COMES TO Teen Advisory Board!!!!!!!!" >:E >:E >:E #SarahShouldTakeUpWritingEvilPoetry)
Also Amanda runs Patio Pals (the kiddie garden event thing, aka the event that gives me a nice sun tan). She is very knowledgeable about outsidey things. She has planted probably 40k flowers by now so. And she told me about eating raw radishes with butter which is THE BEST WAY TO EAT THEM.
Her only downfall is that she doesn't mind the putrid stinky/feet/mold/cheese/chocolate garden fertilizer sooooooo idk, she is a lost cause.
So yay it's Sarah (aka Mrs. Awe)
Okay, well Sarah is my favoritest librarian for about 40k reasons sooooo I'm gonna hafta willow this down a lot.
She is uh, nice I guess. Like half the time. She's also quite inhumane, being known to do things such as "Hannah, would you like to play this really fun game where you get cookie all over your face and look super undignified." HAHA NO. "Hannah, do the limbo to this really debilitating music that makes you feel like you're a five year old." HAHA NO! "Hannah, do you want a hug?" HAHA NO! ... Waittttt... I'VE BEEN BAMBOOZLED!!!! COME BACK, SARAH!!!!!!!!
*No, I'm joking I have never not gotten a hug. I'm way too smart to fall for Sarah tricks.
Anyways, Sarah's pretty cool otherwise, except you know, she's evil and eat teens/breaths fire on them so. I have compared her to a dragon, a ninja, the Gestapo, and an evil mother superior, #HannahKnowsHowToComplementPeopleSheLikes,Yo.
She also is the STAR of the Mrs. Awe series (which you should read if you haven't already) and does awesome things like destroying creatures with axes and breaking regulations to give herself the perfect hair bc WHY NOT?
In things that are actually complimentary for her, uh, she has a dog so. And two cats??? She also has really nice hair which I have not drawn on bc I'm lazy, and my attempts would probably look bad, and NO I TOTALLY DID NOT MAKE TAYLOR'S HAIR OUT OF COMBS.
NOT SARAH (who has not made an appearance in the Mrs. Awe series yet)
Not Sarah is not Sarah.
Her really name is Amanda, but pfffft, we've already got one of those so she has been dubbed with this name which is probably ten times more awesome anyways since it includes SARAH in it.
I don't really know Not Sarah that well, BUT she has an awesome name and wore a cowboy hat and boots to one of the events so clearly she has class. And she can insult you in multiple languages so #admiration.
Nicole, who is cool
Yay, so Nicole is one of my favorite librarians. Although I never talked to her. (HELLO SOCIAL ANXIETY!!!!!) And then she left! (Cue: epic cheers) But it's only to a branch library so it's cool. I get to see her every blue moon, right? XD XD XD XD WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A BLUE MOON, HMMMMMM?
Anyways, my sister (who apparently could talk to her) said she likes raptors so ever since I learned of that I have wanted to do a librarian series where she stars as the dino guru. But this has not happened yet bc #reasons. Although I REALLY NEED TO DO IT because I want a super cool safari type librarian with a raptor sidekick and awesome shades. And anyways I did have Mrs. Awe talk about her in passing in the first Mrs. Awe story so Nimode has to come in at some point.
Boss Lady, who--to shock and asunder-- happens to be the boss lady, has a real name, but I'm not going to use it because I never use it.
She is also cool and stuff. She's traveled the world, is the boss of all the other children/teen librarians, and reads literary fiction so, you know, coolness. She also is the number one person who children/teens are likely to be afraid of. This is because she is the Boss Lady.
Sometimes when we're doing TAB she bursts in on our conversation and take it to places like Baton Rouge, which is annoying really because Sarah and I were probably having an awesome conversation ourselves, which would be something like: *silence* *silence* *silence* *I sneeze.* So YEAH BOSS LADY IS CLEARY THE WORST.
But hehehe, let's forget all that because we have to paint her in a nice picture because if I get my MLS and want to work at my library then she'll be the one hiring me soooo #BeNiceToTheBossLady. Although who knows, by that time she may have retired and taken to sipping piña coladas in the Bahamas, who can say?
She also is my favorite person to write in the Mrs. Awe series. Her character--to everyone's great astonishment--is Boss Lady, who is known for very dry sarcasm, numerous eyebrow raises, and giving Mrs. Awe very cool looks.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So clearly I know too many library people so I'm gonna call it here and do a part 2 blog post. In fact I haven't even done ANY of the non-librarians yet. AGHRHRJRHRHRH!!!!! Next time I might just do gifs. But who can say? (maybe me?) It may not come out for a while though because the Buddy Project wants me to write a blog post for them and I have to work on the library musical that I'm in (I will do a post on that eventually).
But until then.
Is the crazy Wranting Writer and Lordess Lady of the blog b/c she says so.
